Dicey Dungeons puts the dice under the limelight this time. In this strategy game, players get to do more than just roll them for numbers because they will be ruling the board with their own attacks and special moves! The main goal in this game is to defeat the other creatures lurking deep in the dungeons in order to reach Lady Luck, the mastermind behind pitting dices against dangerous enemies. 

A series of fortunate and unfortunate events

Dicey Dungeons' gameplay can be a little complicated at first, and players may need to play several rounds to get the hang of it. Like the usual board games, players will be hopping around areas on the board where enemies lie in wait where you land. When the battle begins, this is when you start praying for lucky numbers. Different skill cards and attacks will show up on your screen, and the damage it will deal on your opponent depends on the dice you rolled. The higher the number, the stronger the attack is. If you ever draw really low numbers, do not worry. Some cards would allow you to roll again, but only for a limited number of times. 

There are special attacks as well that you can use, although you will have to earn these cards by winning the easier rounds and leveling up. The special attacks will also depend on what game character you are using. You see, each Dice comes with its personality and specialty, so you will have to choose wisely at the beginning of the game! 

Back to the game’s mechanics, you will have to use up all your cards during your turn, and if the enemy’s life still has not reached zero, it will be its turn to use up all its cards against you. This game is really just a matter of luck and launching your attacks wisely. 

Get to know your Dice!

There are different game characters to choose from, namely the Warrior, the Thief, the Jester, the Robot, the Inventor, and the Witch. They all have their unique abilities that will surely help you gain an advantage in the game. Just to give you an idea, for instance, the Thief dice can steal weapons from enemies while the Inventor dice can craft new weapons from the scraps of the destroyed ones. 

It will be easy to pinpoint which dice is which because instead of the simple black and white cubes, they all come in their colors. For example, the Warrior dice is colored blue while the Robot dice is grey and looks like metal. They also wear goofy faces! 

The enemies are also designed creatively. Yes, there will be dragons and ogres typical in a dungeon game, but there are also evil vacuum cleaners! They make the game entertaining and fun to play both for kids and adults alike. 

Roll for hours

Dicey Dungeons is a fun roguelike game that can keep you occupied for hours. Defeating one enemy after another presents just the right amount of challenge that would make you think, but would not pressure you to strategize. The gameplay is a bit repetitive, and you might need to take a break from time to time, but it is surely a game that you would come back to again.
